Hendricks is scheduled to fight Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 200 on the FOX Sports 1 preliminary card Saturday. He will forfeit 20 percent of his fight purse to Gastelum, according to MMAFighting.com. There will be a ceremonial weigh-in for TV broadcasts Friday afternoon where the official weigh results from Friday morning will be announced.
Hendricks failed to make the weigh-in for UFC 192 in November against Tyron Woodley after he was rushed to the emergency room and given an IV. He made weight in February for his bout against Stephen Thompson, but dropped the fight as Thompson earned a first-round TKO win over Hendricks. It was the first time Hendricks has been finished in his career.
UFC 200 will be Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. UFC Light Heavyweight and former OSU wrestler Daniel Cormier will face former UFC Middleweight champion Anderson Silva in a three-round, non-title fight. Cormier was scheduled to fight Jon Jones, but Jones was pulled from the fight for testing positive for a potential anti-doping violation by the USADA.
