Oklahoma State senior safety Jordan Sterns is one of 88 defenders named to the Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list for the "most outstanding defensive player in college football".

Sterns was also named to the watch list for the Chuck Bednarik Award, again basically another "defensive player of the year" award.

Sterns, a leader on the defense has led the team in tackles the last two seasons (103 in 2014 and 108 in 2015).
