As we come to end of summer at least as far as sports is concerned it's time for everyone to make their predictions and try to evaluate each team and some of the top players in the country.

Pro Football Focus released its 2016 QB ranking as well as their Top 25. (Oklahoma State is No. 21 in the AP Poll.)

In their preseason poll, PFF had the Cowboys ranked 12th. Here's what they had to say:

It's a similar story for Oklahoma State as the passing offense features a number of talented receivers while QB Mason Rudolph didn't get the attention he deserves after finishing with the fifth-best passing grade in the nation last season. Another strong year could have Rudolph knocking the door down at the Heisman ceremony while also putting himself into first-round consideration in the draft.

The Rudolph appreciation didn't stop there. QB1 was ranked No.3 in their QB ranking behind only Heisman vote grabbers Deshaun Watson of Clemson and Baker Mayfield of Oklahoma.

...He threw for the fifth-most yards on deep passes last season with an outstanding deep pass accuracy rate of 57.3 percent, ranking second among returning quarterbacks. Rudolph's accuracy remained consistent even when under fire, completing 64.1 percent of his throws when pressured. With a talented group of receivers returning to Stillwater, Rudolph should have no problem putting up similar numbers this season.

There's no doubt that Oklahoma State's chances of competing for a Big 12 title hinge on Rudolph's continued production and growth. As long as the offensive line shows marked improvement and Rudolph stays healthy we should be in for a fun year.
