4-Star PF Tyler Polley names Oklahoma State in Top 5

247Sports

The Cowboys, who seem to forever be in search of big-man depth are in on a four-star power forward from Fort Lauderdale, FL (The Sagemont Academy).

Tyler Polley, the 6-foot-7, 190-pound 2017 prospect, announced his Top 5 schools Sunday via Twitter.

Oklahoma State just offered Polley a scholarship in late July.

Per 247Sports, Polley is the No. 27 ranked power forward in the country and No. 13 ranked prospect from the state of Florida.

Polley can score in the post and has decent jumper. He plays more like a small forward with good size. His versatility and ability to play inside or out could be huge for Oklahoma State.

In an inteview with recruiting website Endless Motor, Polley summed up his game.

My game is like Paul George, a guy that can handle the rock and dribble the ball up the court and start the break on offense, can shoot the ball from anywhere on the court, and is a solid rebounder and defender. I was once compared to George "the iceman" Gervin lol. My travel coach Reece told me that a Rivals scout compared my game to his and I was shocked, to even have my game have a little comparison with a Hall of Famer is a great honor and says a lot to my potential and how great I can be when I put in the hours in the gym and the weight room.

That gives Cowboy fans plenty to be excited about.
