Today sucks.
Oklahoma State lost on a play that should’ve never taken place, but that doesn’t matter, apparently. The MAC issued a statement with a quote from Bill Carollo, Coordinator of Football Officials of the Collegiate Officiating Consortium.
Bill Carollo confirms wrong call in CMU/OSU and also that outcome won't be effected: pic.twitter.com/lCxmx9wAm1

Despite an acknowledgement that the game should’ve been over, and the officials allowed the game to continue, the result of the game somehow stands. I believe that probably settles the matter, but hopefully this incident sparks a change in college football. Oklahoma State led 27-24 with 0:00 on the clock. An officiating snafu (not a missed call) allowed the game to continue after it was over. I don’t get the logic there.
We issued a statement in response to the MAC’s statement:
Well then. We riot. https://t.co/cB5br3wZzw
