Well, that didn’t take long.
According to Robert Allen, Oklahoma State Offensive Coordinator Mike Yurcich has withdrawn his name from the Auburn coaching search.
Oklahoma State OC Mike Yurcich let Triple Play Sports Radio and https://t.co/smK5uilGKt know he took his name out on the Auburn OC job.

From what I read on Twitter, most people considered the move to the SEC either a lateral move or even a step down.
Oklahoma State is already being considered as one of the best offensive teams in the nation next season. Last season, Oklahoma State was the 14th best total offense in the nation, and Auburn was ranked 43rd overall. To me, that is a step down, but it is the SEC so who knows.
All we know for now is Mike Gundy will not have to replace his OC. At least not yet.
