After a tough start to the week dropping a home game to K State, the Cowboys bounced back with a victory over Texas Tech on the road. Oklahoma State earned their first conference win and Brad Underwood's 100th career win as a head coach. Jeffrey Carroll shined once again this week, scoring a career high 24 again against K State, and topping that with 25 against the Red Raiders. Phil Forte is now 4 three pointers away from the school record after going 4-4 from distance on Saturday.
However, a bench player this week made a great impact once again. Being an unsung hero is not always about stuffing the stat sheet with a ton of points or rebounds. It could just be the presence they have when they come on the court. For that reason, Davon Dillard is my unsung hero this week.

Davon did not score much this week, but he's provided a spark off of the bench for Brad Underwood in a newly expanded role. He had 4 points and 4 rebounds against K State and 4 points and one rebound against Texas Tech. Even in the loss against the Wildcats on Wednesday, Dillard left an impact on Gallagher-Iba Arena with a monster dunk in the second half.

It's nice to see Dillard finally playing significant minutes for Brad Underwood. I hope to see him break out in the scoring column here very soon!
