Big 12 MBB Media Days Reps Released

We are two weeks away from the annual Big 12 Men’s Basketball Media Days in Kansas City. As is customary, both players and coaches go to Kansas City to represent their respective teams.

Seniors Jeffrey Carroll and Mitchell Solomon will represent the Cowboys.

Baylor’s Depth Chart Announced

This is Baylor’s depth chart for the game this weekend. There aren’t many changes here, Zach Smith is still the starting quarterback. What is interesting is that Anu Solomon, who started the year as QB1, is not even the backup listed. 14 of the 22 starters listed for Baylor are either freshman or sophomores, so there is a lot of inexperience for the Bears.

Bowl Projection Update

Sports Illustrated posted their latest bowl game projections. This week, they have Oklahoma State playing USC in the Alamo Bowl. This would be a very interesting, especially with the quarterback talent in that game. This could be where Oklahoma State ends up, so this is a very plausible matchup.

Oklahoma State-Texas Time is Still TBD

I see this going one of two ways. If OU wins, the game in Austin will be at 11 a.m. but if Texas pulls the upset, this could end up being a night game. Personally, I’d rather have the day game on the road. With Texas playing better as of late, this could make for an interesting game.

Another thing to keep an eye on is the MLB playoffs. The sixth game of the ALCS is scheduled for Oct. 21 on FOX or FS1. If the game is played, expect it to take the primetime spot from football.

Oklahoma State Offers Two New Players

Cassity is a three-star defensive end out of Austin Westlake High School. He is in the 2018 class, he could be a huge next for the coming season.

Davis is a three-star linebacker from Clear Lake High School in Houston. He is in the class of 2019, so he has not received many offers yet. I hope Oklahoma State makes a run at him, he looks to be a really athletic linebacker.

That’s all for today, folks! Have a great day!
