Carroll enters his senior season coming off an impressive campaign in his junior year. Last season, he averaged 17.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest. He also tallied his a career-high minutes per game average of 29.5 MPG.
With Jawun Evans in the NBA, Carroll will assuredly be the focal point on offense for the Cowboys. He’s a high-volume scorer who shot over 53 percent from the field, and 45 percent from beyond the arc last season.
With a new point guard in graduate-transfer Kendall Smith, a freakishly-athletic freshman wing opposite Carroll in Zack Dawson, Carroll could potentially have some of the pressure taken off of him to score this season. Expect him to build off of those numbers from last season.
Jeffrey Carroll can easily be a 20ppg + 8rpg guy this season. The Pokes will need it. #Pokes #Big12
