After a resounding 59-16 win over Baylor, the Cowboys are moving up in both polls.

The Cowboys are back inside the Top 10 in the AP Top 25 after rising four spots to occupy the No. 10 spot.

The Sooners are just ahead of the Cowboys at No. 9 after a tight 29-24 win against Texas. TCU joins the Top 5, occupying the No. 4 spot after a decisive win against Kansas State and West Virginia joins the Top 25 party at No. 23 after a win against Texas Tech.

The Amway Coaches Poll puts the Cowboys in the No. 11 spot, up three spots from where they were last week.

After a crazy weekend in college football in which seven of the Top 25 teams lost to unranked opponents, the Cowboys were able to escape not only unharmed, but posted an impressive victory over a lowly team. They were rewarded with once again climbing into the Top 10. With the only loss on the season being to now-No. 4 TCU, the Cowboys are looking pretty good as they head into the four-game gauntlet. Next week they travel to Austin to take on Texas, then head to Morgantown for a date with the Mountaineers. The Cowboys then return home to host Bedlam before heading to Ames the week after to take on surprising Iowa State. We will learn a lot about this team once this hellacious month is over.
