The 2018 Big 12 football conference schedule was released earlier this morning. Once again, the schedule feels weird with Bedlam being at the beginning of November. An interesting note for Oklahoma State is that they do not have consecutive home games during conference play. Let’s take a look at the conference schedule for the Pokes:
22 September: Texas Tech
29 September: @ Kansas
6 October: Iowa State
13 October: @ K-State
20 October: BYE
27 October: Texas
3 November: @ Baylor
10 November: @ Oklahoma
17 November: West Virginia
24 November: @ TCU
This schedule will make for a tough road for the Cowboys, especially having a young team next season. The back-to-back road games against Baylor and Oklahoma will be a tough challenge at the end of the season. It is also looking like Homecoming could be against Texas at the end of October. The good part of the schedule is that Oklahoma State does not play a “true road game” until October 13 in Manhattan. Next year will be a challenge, but this is a favorable schedule.
