Bartender! Make it a double!

Mike Boynton and the Cowboys got their second power forward commit in four days. This time, it was from Yor Anei.

247Sports lists Anei as the No. 1-ranked player in the 2018 Class from Kansas in its composite rankings. Anei, originally from South Sudan, posted the following message on Twitter Thursday night.

“First of all I would like to thank god for giving me the ability to play this game and to advance to play basketball at the next level. I also want to thank my family for always being there for me and supporting me through my ups and downs throughout my whole basketball career. I would also like to thank all the coaches and AAU teams that I’ve been able to play under over the last couple years, A big thank you to my guy victor Williams and my mentor Aaron Washington for pushing me to be the best basketball player/person I could be and lastly I would like to thank Jennifer bishop and Jerry bishop for excepting me as part of their wonderful loving family. All of these people have helped me become the young man I am today.

With all this being said I excited to announce that I’m committing to play basketball at Oklahoma State University #cowboys #gopokes”

247Sports lists him at 6-9, 205. Anei played his high school ball at Shawnee Mission South in Overland Park, Kansas.

Anei has four offers, with the Cowboys being the only Power-5 team to offer him. However, teams such as Kansas State, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas A&M and Wichita State are reportedly interested in Anei.

Anei took an official visit back on Sept. 22, and received his official offer shortly after on Sept. 24.

Anei joins Duncan Demuth, another power forward, as the only two members of the Class of 2018.
