It was announced yesterday that Oklahoma State standout guard, Jeffrey Carroll, will miss playing time due to the FBI investigation into the program. Davon Dillard and Zack Dawson have already been suspended indefinitely (although not related to the investigation), and now the Big 12’s leading returning scorer will sit out for a while. He will continue to practice, but his suspension will remain effective pending the ongoing review of the men’s basketball program.
Major news from #OKState: "Oklahoma State senior guard Jeffrey Carroll is being withheld from play pending the ongoing review of the men’s basketball program."

This is a big blow for the Cowboys and fist-year head coach Mike Boynton. The Cowboys took on Pepperdine last night in the season opener, and came away with a 78-47 win at home. While they looked solid without Carroll, his absence will absolutely be felt against better competition.
