It’s the sixth anniversary of the plane crash that took the lives of four, including Cowgirl coaches Kurt Budke and Miranda Serna.

Remembering the Four, six years later:

It’s hard to believe it’s already been six full years since a plane crash took the lives of four, including head coach Kurt Budke, and assistant Miranda Serna. Cowgirl Basketball put out a touching video today on the sixth anniversary.

One of our former writers, Christopher Snodgress, wrote this last year. It should be mandatory reading each year on this day. We’ll always Remember The Four.

Oklahoma State Football doin’ work in the classroom:

Oklahoma State set a program record with 20 (!) All-Big 12 Academic First Team selections this season. That number leads the Big 12 as well. The coaching staff harps on academics, and it’s cool to see that come to fruition.

This photo of Big Country and Eddie Sutton will take you back to the good ol’ days:

No commentary needed. Two Oklahoma State legends in one awesome picture.

Justice Hill, Doak Walker Award Semifinalist:

Cowboy tailback Justice Hill was named a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award yesterday. The award is given annually to the nation’s top tailback. Simply being on the list of semifinalists is an honor in itself. He joins the likes of Saquon Barkley, Josh Adams, Ronald Jones III, and others on the list of 11 semifinalists. He’s also the only Big 12 tailback on the list.

Also, he’s a true sophomore. I’m about ready to get the Heisman campaign rolling for 2018.

Mike Boynton, hitting the crootin’ trail (sort of):

Cowboy Basketball Head Coach Mike Boynton was on campus Friday morning, fraternizing with the students and handing out koozies, t-shirts, and other merch. It’s always cool to see coaches do this, and you’d hope that more students start to come to games. #GYAtoGIA

That’s all for today folks. Keep it locked to CRFF over the weekend for football coverage.
