It’s High Noon...

Mike Boynton responds to last night defeat

Cowboy Basketball head coach Mike Boynton tweeted this out last night after losing handily to the Texas A&M Aggies, 72-55. It was a rough night on the offensive end, with Oklahoma State only shooting 30 percent from the field. The great part about basketball is that you get a chance to rebound and play better within a few days. In fact, the Cowboys get that chance this after at 2:30 p.m CT against Pittsburgh.

This was Coach Boynton’s response following the game last night:

Coach Boynton has this team going in the right direction, they just ran into a buzzsaw last night. The Cowboys have a winnable game today, so hopefully they are able to get back on track.

2018 WR commit to sign next month

CJ Moore, a 2018 commit from Tulsa (Union), OK, is planning to sign his commitment to Oklahoma State next month. It is good to see highly touted players sign early, rather than waiting until Signing Day in February, or opening up their recruitment right before Signing Day. Moore looks to be another great receiver in the long line of great wide receivers in Oklahoma State history.

Cowgirl Basketball to play in the Cancun Women’s Challenge

Cowgirl Basketball travels south of the border over Thanksgiving to play in the Cancun Women’s Challenge. They will play South Dakota on Thanksgiving Day, then No. 12 Tennessee the following day. Go Cowgirls and good luck!!

More Bowl Projections!!

Sports Illustrated put out their latest bowl projections, showing two possible intriguing games for the Oklahoma schools. Oklahoma is still projected to be in the College Football Playoff, playing Miami in the Rose Bowl. That would be an interesting matchup, and hopefully Miami can use the Turnover Chain a time or two against Baker Mayfield and the Sooners. Oklahoma State is projected to play in the Alamo Bowl against USC. The Mason Rudolph vs. Sam Darnold matchup would make this one of the better non-New Year’s Six bowl games. This would be a great matchup and test for an Oklahoma State defense, facing one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, along with a solid running back in Ronald Jones.

That’s all for today, folks! Enjoy your Tuesday!
