Charleston, Florida State, LSU, Memphis, UAB and Villanova are also in the field. There will be an eighth team announced at a later date to round out the field.
The Cowboys have been in the AdvoCare Invitational two times previously. In 2013, the Cowboys finished third. They didn’t place in the 2008 edition of the tournament.
The 2018 tournament will take place in Orlando, FL Nov. 22-25.
Next season, the Cowboys will be without seniors Jeffrey Carroll, Mitchell Solomon and graduate transfer Kendall Smith. This will be a good test for the Cowboys early in the season.
