During the fourth quarter of today’s game against Kansas, Gundy took out all of the seniors to let them watch and take in the last few minutes of their college careers in Boone Pickens Stadium:

This was awesome and was really emotional for me. As this was also my last time sitting in that stadium as a student.
I want to say a few things to the seniors.
I came to Oklahoma State at the same time as most of you, watched you play in Boone Pickens Stadium for the past three years and I’ll walk across the stage in Gallegher-Iba with some of you guys.
On our last game in BPS, with you on the field and me in the front row with the Paddle People, I feel a lot of the same emotions you feel. Pride, excitement and some sadness. I just wanted to say thank you.
Thank you for all the memories in the student section Boone Pickens. Thank you for a fantastic four years of football to watch as a student.
My college experience wouldn’t have been the same without y’all. Thank you for the great wins you guys have had (not without some heart attacks but regardless).
Thank you for the incredible way you have represented this university. Thank you for being great members of the Cowboy family. You’ll be missed.

Once a Cowboy, always a Cowboy.
