As if today couldn’t get any weirder for Oklahoma State fans, Brett McMurphy reported that Peyton Manning (!) called Mike Gundy in an attempt to pitch the vacant Tennessee job.

Peyton. Freaking. Manning. It looks like Tennessee is willing to pull out all the stops to get Gundy to Knoxville. First, a report surfaces that there’s a possibility of UT being able to double his salary, and now he gets a phone call from the GOAT? What are we supposed to do here?
