Man, what a season it's been for Cowgirl F.C. They clinched the Big 12 regular season title with a 1-0 win in Austin. And now they're playing for for a spot in the championship game after a third Bedlam victory in the Big 12 tournament.
Oklahoma State started out their Big 12 tournament on the right foot with a 2-1 victory against their in-state rival. This moves them to 16-2-2 on the season.
Anna Beffer has been on fire this season, distributing the ball across the pitch and it didn't stop in Kansas City this week. Getting assists on both of the goals for the Cowgirls.
The scoring started early for the Cowgirls when Haley Woodard scored in the 22nd minute off a pass from Beffer off the top of the box.
This is why @_haleywoodard is the Big 12 Offensive POY & @annabeffer18 is 2nd in NCAA in assists! #GoPokes pic.twitter.com/JWXrUHUKmm

The Sooners started the second half with a goal in the 46th minute from Madeline Brem but that was all the Sooners could do.
NOTES:
OU had 12 shots to Oklahoma State's 17 with five shots on goal for each of the teams.
Goal Keeper for the Cowgirls, Michela Ongaro, had an impressive day with three saves.
The Cowgirls will face Baylor today for a spot in the Championship.
