It was starting to become a doubt. Oklahoma State senior standout James Washington only needed 69 yards to become the all-time leader in receiving yards at Oklahoma State.
Washington was held to one catch for no yards at halftime, putting the record in jeopardy. It didn’t take long to claim the record in the second half though.
He hauled in a 13-yard reception before finally hooking up with QB1 for the record.

The 65-yard connection was an emotional one, as it proved to be the final #Rudolph2Washington connection of the two’s storied careers.
Congrats to “The President” on passing Rashaun Woods and ending his career with 4,472 receiving yards - breaking the record by 58 yards.
