High Noon Highlights(12/7): James Washington named First-Team All-American and more

It’s high noon...time for your Oklahoma State sports highlights

NCAA Football: Kansas at Oklahoma State Rob Ferguson-USA TODAY Sports

James Washington named to Sports Illustrated All- America team:

This comes as no surprise as he awaits to find out if he’s the winner of the Biletnikoff Award in Atlanta this evening. The Oklahoma State top wide receiver made first-team selection. This is just more honor pouring onto a deserving player. Washington had 69 carries for over 1,000 during the regular season. Hopefully he can take home the Biletnikoff to top of an amazing senior season.

Free T-Shirt Alert:

If you’re anything like any of the students I know, you love free stuff. And you love it even more when said free stuff is a super cool t-shirt. Well if you’re an Oklahoma State student and you get to the game early at either the women’s or men’s basketball game this weekend you can snag a free shirt.

Washington juggling school and award trip:

The school grind doesn’t stop. Even when you’re a finalist for one of the top awards in college football. James Washington is in an online chemistry class this semester that has a lab under no supervision. Luckily Washington says he hasn’t blown up anything.

Kendrick Marshall with the Oklahoman wrote a great piece about how one of the nations’ top wide receivers is juggling football and 17 hours of classes.
