Oklahoma State Recruiting: CRFF National Signing Day 2017 Headquarters

It’s National Signing Day. The day football recruits from around the country (and Canada) make their final decisions as to which schools they will play college football for.

Letters of Intent will be faxed into schools all day. To make things easy for fans, we will keep this story updated all day so you can follow along as prospects sign with Oklahoma State.

Before then, take a look at the series of interview our staff did with some of the recruits including: RB Chuba Hubbard, WR LC Greenwood, DT Fua Leilua, and DE Brock Martin, all of whom have officially signed with OSU today.

6:21 a.m.: The first letter of the day is Kicker Jake McLure out of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Star rating: 3

The 6-3, 195 lb kicker out of Chattanooga, TN is ranked a three star player by both ESPN and Scout. ESPN lists him as the No. 40 kicker prospect in the nation and the No. 31 overall player in Tennessee, while 247Sports ranks him as the No. 8 punter in the class.

He was 12-for-14 on field goal attempts as a senior with a long of 56 yards, and averaged 46 yards per punt. He was named All-State Class 4A Kicker by the Tenessee Sports Writers Association, earned All-Region honors for his punting.

He had other offers from Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, and East Tennessee State.

He committed to the Cowboys Nov. 11, 2016.

7:06 a.m.: Next came in Cowboy Back from Wynnewood, Oklahoma Baron Odom

Star rating: 3

Went to the state championship as a Senior, leading his team to an 11-4 record. Odom was a four sport athlete.

7:12 a.m.: Defensive End from Chicago, Illinois Enoch Smith Jr.

Smith Red-shirted at Michigan State before playing a year then transferring to Butler Community College.

7:17 a.m.: Defensive Tackle out of Bixby, Oklahoma Brendon Evers

Star Ranking: 3

Helped his team go to three straight state championships, lists him as the number 1 defensive prospect in Oklahoma

7:21 a.m.: Defensive End Brock Martin from Oolagah, Oklahoma

Star Ranking: 3

Martin, who also wrestled in High School, was ranked as the number 11 Defensive prospect in Oklahoma by ESPN.

7:23 a.m.: Safety Thabo Mwaniki out of Denton, Texas.

Star Ranking:3

Earned Second-Team All-District as senior and played both offense and defense throughout his time at Denton Guyer High School.

7:26 a.m.: Safety Malcom Rodriguez out of Wagoner,Oklahoma

Star ranking: 3

Rivals list him as the number 21 recruit in Oklahoma and won three straight state championships at the QB position. He didn’t lose a game his junior or senior seasons.

7:29 a.m.: Runningback out of Fitzgerald, Georgia JD King.

Star ranking:3

King was ranked by Scout as the number 3 Runningback in Georgia. King lead his team to a 13-2 record and a state championship.

7:30 a.m.: Safety Kris McCune out of Dallas, Texas

Star ranking:3

Named Defensive MVP at the Blue-Grey All American Bowl, also named first-team all-state and all-district.

7:33 a.m.: Welcome Wide Receiver Braydon Johnson from Arlington, TX.

Star ranking: 3

Johnson caught a team-high 45 passes to lead his team toa 10-3 record his senior season.

7:37 a.m.: The Wallace Twins, Quarterback Tracin and Wide Receiver Tylan are officially Cowboys.

ESPN ranks Tylan as the number 13 wide receiver in the state of Texas.

7:42 a.m.: Welcome Safety out of Sunnyvale, Texas Tre Sterling!

Star rating: 3

Sterling was a two-way player in high school. Scout ranks him as the number 8 safety in Texas.

7:45 a.m.: Wide Receiver Shamond “LC” Greenwood has officially signed with OSU.

Rivals ranks Greenwood as the number 21 Wide Receiver prospect in the nation.

8:15 a.m.: Welcome Defensive Tackle out of Spanish Fork,Utah Fua Leilua!

247sports ranks Leilua as the number 2 JUCO prospect in Utah.

8:19 a.m.: Canadian Running Back Chuba (choo-ba) Hubbard is now officially a Cowboy!

247sports list Hubbard as the number 1 prospect in Alberta.

9:07 a.m.: Welcome Sione Finefeuiaki Cowboy Back out of California!
