The NFL officially released the full list of the 2017 Combine participants. Among the 330 college players invited, three were from Oklahoma State.

  • Christopher Carson | RB
  • Ashton Lampkin | CB
  • Vincent Taylor | DT

The three invites matches OSU’s totals for 2016 and 2013.

I am disappointed not to see Jordan Sterns on the list. You’d think a guy that led his team in tackles for three straight years would be worthy of an invite.

Not being invited does not mean a player won’t get drafted, or have a long career in the NFL for that matter. It is however, where (bad) teams fall in love with players over their measurables.

The SEC led all conferences with 66 invites, while the Big 12 had just 19. West Virginia had the most out of the Big 12 with 5 followed by OSU, OU, and Baylor with 3 each.

The combine is February 28th through March 6th in Indianapolis. You can find the complete list of invites at NFL.com.
