Lunardi has the Cowboys facing 9-seed Dayton in Buffalo, with the winner (likely) facing No. 1 seed Villanova.
Since reappearing in Bracketology on January 30th, in an 11-seed play-in game, OSU has climbed to a 10 seed (on February 2nd) and now an 8.
The jump comes after a 2-0 week in which the Cowboys beat Oklahoma (RPI. 144) and West Virginia (RPI. 32).
This week OSU will get another chance to improve their resume with Baylor (RPI. 1) and Texas (RPI 131) coming to Stillwater.
Joining Oklahoma State in the latest Bracketology are fellow Big 12 members Kansas (1), Baylor (1), West Virginia (3), Iowa State (7), TCU (10), and Kansas State (10). With games remaining on the schedule against 5 of those 6 teams, OSU has plenty of opportunities to continue to improve (or lock up) their seeding.
