The sophomore hurler was 2-0 last week out of the bullpen. On Wednesday, Teel pitched 7.0 innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out 10 against Missouri State.
Then on Sunday, Teel pitched two scoreless innings, only giving up one hit, one walk and struck out five batters from South Dakota State.
Teel is the third Cowboy to earn a Big 12 Weekly award, as Garrett Benge earned Player of the Week on Feb. 27 and Travis Wacker was awarded the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week.
Look for Teel to continue his pitching dominance as the Cowboys take on New Mexico State and Northwestern State this week.
