While Spring practice begins this coming Monday, the Cowboy’s 2017 season football is still 184 days away.

That’s not stopping some from looking ahead to the opening weekend, and according to one article, The Cowboys’ first game will be one to watch.

Paul Myerberg at USA today released his list of the Top-10 games of the 2017 season’s opening weekend. Number 9 on list is the match-up between the Cowboys and the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes.

Despite the talent gap, Myerberg says the Cowboys can’t look past the opener.

It’s sure to be a tough match up for the Cowboys and some great football. Tulsa is not a team that should be looked over.

Alabama vs Florida State topped the list, followed by Florida vs Michig and Virginia Tech vs West Virginia.

Oklahoma State opens the season against Tulsa in Stillwater on Saturday, September 2nd.
