The Cowboys look to continue their seven-game winning streak as our rivals down south come into Stillwater on Tuesday. Both teams are nationally ranked by Baseball America, with the Sooners coming into the game ranked 24th and the Cowboys narrowly edging them, earning the 21st spot in the Top 25.
Here are the quick hits:
No. 24 Sooners (21-3) vs. No. 21 Cowboys (14-6)
Where: Allie P. Reynolds Stadium, Stillwater, OK
When: 6:30 p.m.
Watch: Fox Sports Oklahoma/ Fox Sports Go
Listen: Cowboy Radio Network
The Pokes are coming off a sweep of Northwestern State where they scored 28 runs throughout the weekend and improved their record 14-6. They’re batting .294 as a team with Garrett Benge leading them with a .356 batting average.
The pitching staff is at a 3.50 ERA after having a few bad games, but looks to be bouncing back giving up less and less hits every game.
Meanwhile, the Sooners come into the first round of Bedlam at 21-3. But when you’ve played teams like Grambling State and Kennesaw State, that’s easy.
The Sooners currently have a .309 batting average, with Austin O’Brien leading the team at .373.
This is higher than the Pokes, but not by much. And based on how the bats were this weekend, the Cowboys are capable of scoring more runs then the Sooners.
The Sooners also have a lower ERA than the Cowboys, at 2.54, But again they haven’t exactly played what I would consider a quality opponent. So take that as you will.
Also, the first 75 students to show up to the game get a free lawn chair courtesy of Academy! It’s a perfect time to head out to the new tailgating area of the ballpark outside the fence in left-center field.
Hey @okstate students, we know you love free stuff — what about free stuff & #Bedlam baseball?! #MeetMeAtAllieP tomorrow night for both! pic.twitter.com/hMQe1ptRrT

Though this is technically not a conference game (that series will be in Tulsa and Oklahoma City in mid-May), it’s always a good time when Bedlam is involved. So come out to Allie P. Reynolds and support Cowboy Baseball as they try to get another Bedlam victory.
As always,
