It was a big day for Oklahoma State fans with the formal introduction to new basketball coach Mike Boynton. As important a moment as that was, it doesn’t compare to one piece of news that came out this evening...
The Cursive Cowboys are coming back!
I have it confirmed: @OSUMBB is bringing back the Cursive Cowboys uniforms next season. #okstate

They will be updated using the same bandana print trim football uses. Likely the same numerals. https://t.co/KMHuGzjyJs

For those not familiar with the cursive Cowboy uniforms, allow me the pleasure of introducing you to these beauties.

I don’t know about you, but everyone here at CRFF is PUMPED for this news. There’s been a push, since about the arrival of Brad Underwood He Who Shall Not Be Named, for these uniforms to return. Now it looks like it’s finally happening.
The Cowboys did bust out some neat cursive Cowboy practice tops for the Remember the Ten game against Arkansas earlier this year.

They have also worn the cursive Cowboys for the Remember the Ten game for the past few years.
That is reminiscent of the early 2000’s cursive Cowboy uniforms. There’s no word on if that will be the design, though I have a strong feeling it will.
If Boynton is smart, he’ll take full credit for this decision. It would instantly earn him some browny points among the Cowboy faithful.
We’ll keep an eye out for the official release. Until then we will count the days for the return of this fantastic look.
