Evans averaged 18.7 ppg, 6.3 apg and 1.9 spg for the Cowboys this season.
There were three other Big 12 players named to the All-American teams:
- Frank Mason III - only unanimous first-team selection
- Josh Jackson - second-team selection
- Johnathan Motley - second-team selection
Evans is the first OSU player to be selected to an All-American team since Marcus Smart (2012-13), and first point guard to be selected since John Lucas III (2003-04).
