Oklahoma State Golf Earns Runner-up in Vegas

They don’t call Oklahoma State #golfschool for nothing.

The sixth-ranked Oklahoma State Golf Team continued their impressive season in Las Vegas at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters at Southern Highlands Golf Club, where they wrapped up a second-place finish on Wednesday.

The Cowboys finished round three with a team score of 288 for even par, to wrap up the tournament with a 54-hole score of 863, which was one under par, and 10 shots behind tournament champions Southern California.

Two Cowboys also earned spots in the top ten on the individual leader board. Junior Kristoffer Ventura tied for a seventh-place finish after shooting 212 in three rounds. Sophomore Zach Bauchou shared a 10th-place spot after shooting a 213 in three rounds.

This is Oklahoma State’s second 2nd-place finish of the season, to go with three tournament titles. The team will take Spring Break off before heading to Palm City, Florida on March 19th for the Valspar Collegiate Tournament.
