New OSU basketball head coach Mike Boynton continues to fill out his coaching staff, and he didn’t have to look further than his bench for his latest hire.
According to Mark Cooper of the Tulsa World, former Oklahoma State sharp-shooter Keiton Page will remain on staff and be promoted to Director of Player Development.
A staff news to report by #OKState coach Mike Boynton: Keiton Page will be director of player development.

Last season Page served as Assistant Director of Player Development. Stephen Gentry served as director last season, before bolting to Illinois to join Brad Underwood’s staff.
Page has been on the coaching staff in some role since being hired as a graduate assistant in 2012, under then-head-coach Travis Ford. If you add in his playing years, the “Pawnee Pistol” has now been at Oklahoma State either as a player or a coach, for nine years.
Page’s promotion makes him the third member of last year’s staff that will remain next season, joining head coach Mike Boynton and assistant Lamont Evans.
We’re glad to see the OSU great sticking around and getting the opportunity to continue to advance his career in Stillwater.
