Three Recruits to Make Unofficial Visits Today

Recruiting season is never over

It’s been a busy few days for Oklahoma State. While spring ball continues, high school players have been making unofficial visits.

We discussed last weekend’s visitors, including a couple of guys who picked up scholarship offers. That includes one we missed, defensive tackle Gerald Irons III.

The 5-foot-11, 253-lb. DT from Spring, TX is part of the class of 2019. Oklahoma State is his first offer, but he reportedly is also interested in Texas Tech, SMU, and Tulane.

Today, OSU will continue to host recruits with three kids from Belleville, Michigan making visits: wide receiver Julian Barnett and offensive tackle Devontae Dobbs from the class of 2019, and class of 2021 OL/DL Damon Payne.

Barnett is a 6-foot-1, 186-lb. 4-star WR from Bellville, Michigan who already has offers from nine schools including Auburn, Georgia, Michigan State, and Iowa State.

You can check out his highlights below.

Devontae Dobbs is a 6-foot-4, 270-lb. 4-star OT from Belleville with 19 offers including schools such as Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, LSU, and Florida State. The kid is about to be a junior and he’s already that big! That combined with his highlights below make it understandable why he’s already getting so many offers.

Finally, Damon Payne is... wait class of 2021? That mean’s he’s just going to be a freshman next season. I understand recruiting starts early, but I’m not profiling a kid that hasn’t even graduated middle school yet.
