Round one of The Players Championship isn’t until Thursday, but that’s not stopping Oklahoma State alum Rickie Fowler from turning heads today!
During his practice round Wednesday morning, Fowler hit an ace on the par-3, island green 17th hole.

Yes, it’s a practice round, but that’s still impressive and a good sign if you’re betting on Fowler to win his second Player’s Championship.
Justin Thomas, who was paired with Fowler for the practice round, shared a funny moment on twitter after the ace.
Hit it to a foot... lose the hole. Thanks @RickieFowler pic.twitter.com/QP0VatG6YP

The 17th at TPC has been good to Fowler in the past. He birdied the hole three times in a row when he won the Players Championship back in 2015.
Right now, Fowler has the fifth best odds to win the Players Champsionship according to Oddsshark, at +2000, tied with Hideki Matsuyama and Jon Rahm.
Fowler will be paired with Jason Day and Henrik Stenson for rounds one and two. The group tees of Thursday on the 10th hole at 7:16 a.m. CST.
