Fly has been an assistant at Florida Gulf Coast for the last six seasons, including during their Cinderella Sweet-16 run in 2013. Fly has also spent three seasons as the video coordinator for Florida State,
Fly will join a coaching staff that already includes Lamont Evans as assistant head coach and assistant John Cooper. Like Boynton and Evans, Fly is considered a solid recruiter especially in the state of Florida.
"His reputation is as good as any," said Deltona High School coach Denny Hinson, also a coach for the Showtime Ballers AAU team. "Everybody knows him. He's one of the coaches we always talk about."
It’s nice to see Boynton is not only getting right to work recruiting, but getting his staff together too.
