There’s nothing like heading into the weekend on a high note. For Oklahoma State football’s Mike Gundy and Glenn Spencer that good news comes in the form of the 12th commitment to the 2018 recruiting class.
3-star safety Kanion Williams announced his intention to play for OSU earlier this afternoon on Twitter.

“This process has been the best time of my life. I want to thank all of my coaches, and family members who’ve supported me during this off season. I’m proud to say that I’m going to continue my football career at The Oklahoma State University. #gocowboys”
Williams is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound defensive back and returner out of Dallas, TX. He chose OSU over offers from eight other Division-1 schools including Missouri, Arizona, Arizona State, Houston, Tulane, Louisiana Monroe, and Utah State.
Playing for South Oak Cliff last season, Williams had 62 tackles including three TFLS, three interceptions, one INT-return touchdown, and a punt return touchdown.
Williams is OSU’s second safety commit for 2018, joining Kolby Peel. Check out his HUDL highlight reel below.
