Thanks to a 3-0 shut out victory of the top seeded Texas Tech Red Raiders on Wednesday, Oklahoma State remains in the winners bracket today at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship.

Bracket:
No. 8 OSU will face No. 4 West Virginia today in the Group-A winner’s bracket of the tournament. The Pokes lost their series to West Virginia during the regular season 2-1. They played the Mountaineers tight in all three games of that series though so today’s game should be a good one.
HOW WE GOT HERE:
The Cowboys pulled off the BIG upset on Day 1 beating top-seed Texas Tech 3-0.
The Cowboys got RBIs from Cade Cabbiness, Garrett McCain, and Jon Littell, while Colin Simpson and Cameron Dobbs added two hits each.
The Cowboy pitching staff did a heck of job shutting out the Raiders.
Starter Blake Battenfield earned the victory only gave up four hits in the six innings he pitched. He only walked two batters and recorded four strikeouts. Carson Teel recorded 3 strikeouts and one hit in two innings, while Trey Cobb came in and closed things out with a three up-three down bottom of the 9th.
