The Cowboys and Razorbacks faced off in the annual conference showdown last season in Stillwater, a game in which OSU won handily 99-71 (and it wasn’t really even that close).
In that game, the Cowboys jumped out to a 14-2 lead and never looked back. The team shot 50% from the court and were led by Jeffrey Carroll’s 20 points. Four other Cowboys scored in double digits.
It was also the game in which Phil Forte became the all-time 3-point King at OSU!

This will be the fifth season for the annual conference showdown that pits all 10 Big 12 teams against members of the SEC. So far OSU is 3-1 with wins over Arkansas, South Carolina, and Auburn. Overall, the Big 12 has won all of the “challenges” with a four year record of 25-15 (.625).
Other marquee match-ups this season include Baylor at Florida, Kentucky at West Virginia, and Texas A&M at Kansas. You can find the full schedule of match-ups for this year’s challenge here.
