Benge Continues to Impress
Garrett Benge was 5-for-5 last night and needed only a home run to complete the cycle. He had five RBIs in the game as well as two runs scored. Benge is playing for the Lowell Spinners, the Boston Red Sox’s Class A short-season affiliate.
In 27 games with the Spinners, Benge has a slash line of .292/.410/.375. He has 28 hits, six doubles and a triple. He has crossed the plate 12 times and has driven in 14 runs.
Recruits on Parade
It was an insane weekend for recruits on the Oklahoma State campus.

John Bolding III Commits to FIU
Remember the package deal of John Bolding III and his brother, Tayland Humphrey, the 5-star JUCO DT? They said they were probably going to play at the next level together. OSU (among many others) have been recruiting the duo heavily, trying to secure the brothers’ commitments.
Sunday night, Bolding committed to FIU.

This raises questions about Humphrey. He has NFL talent without a doubt. Will he follow his brother to FIU, who hasn’t had a winning season since 2011? In fact, since the team was established in 2002, the Panthers have only had two winning seasons. I, for one, don’t see Humphrey going to the Panthers, but I’ve seen crazier things happen.
Could Miami be my new home??? Had had a wonderful time at FIU pic.twitter.com/c53J4FjLPu

OSU-Tulsa Gets Title Sponsor
Oklahoma State and Tulsa are no strangers to each other. This season will be the 72nd matchup of the two teams, with the Pokes leading the series 39-27-5. The difference this year is the in-state competition will get a name and a title sponsor.
Starting in 30 days, 6 hours and 30 minutes (I’m ready for football), the series will be named the Bank of Oklahoma Turnpike Classic.
"We're thrilled to support this historic and exciting series between two of the state's top college football programs," said Pat Piper, executive vice president of Consumer Banking Services for BOK Financial. "Bank of Oklahoma's beginnings go back to 1910 just before the start of this series so it's with particular pride that we partner on an event with such rich history and which brings together fans from across the state."
Have a good afternoon!
