Welcome to High Noon Highlights, a new daily link dump post at CRFF. Here, you’ll find all the important Oklahoma State news in one place.
Aaron Cochran’s Impact
Cal-transfer Aaron Cochran has made waves at Oklahoma State already, but those outside of Stillwater are starting to take notice. He was listed as one of six potential non-quarterback transfers who will have an impact in 2017. Genaro Armas of the AP writes:
“An already-experienced Cowboys offensive line added a graduate transfer from California who has 16 career starts and protected productive quarterbacks Jared Goff and Davis Webb. Listed at 6-foot-8, 350 pounds, Cochran has already impressed coach Mike Gundy after arriving at camp, having lost 30 pounds, 10 more than what the coach had requested.
"And when we talk about experienced players, we're talking about guys that have played on the road in tough spots when it's hot and loud and everything is going against you, and they've still found ways to be successful," Gundy said.

A.J. Green Is A Dawg
The cornerback spot is the most hotly debated among Oklahoma State fans this offseason, and for solid merit. The Cowboys will feature two new faces starting at CB this season. The likely starters are Adrian Baker and A.J. Green. Green, a true sophomore, played in nine games last season as a true freshman and is looking to make the jump this season.
Mason Rudolph praised Green after practice this morning, saying he has a “dog mentality and is very aggressive”. That’s some high praise from QB1. Video below.

Bryant Reeves Is A Hall-Of-Famer
On Monday night, Bryant “Big Country” Reeves was inducted into the Oklahoma Sports Hall Of Fame. Reeves is arguably the biggest name to play basketball at Oklahoma State, and the most recognizable. Reeves was the sixth overall pick of the 1995 NBA Draft.
In his acceptance speech, he spoke quite highly of his former coach, Eddie Sutton.

OSU Women’s Basketball Plays with Crocodiles
The women are down in Australia playing in some offseason action in “the land down under.” Tuesday morning, they visited a crocodile farm, as well as some of Australia's other interesting animals. You can watch the video and be just as jealous as I am.
