Welcome to High Noon Highlights, a new daily link dump post at CRFF. Here, you’ll find all the important Oklahoma State news in one place.
Oklahoma State in Weeknight Games:
The Tulsa World’s Mark Cooper wrote a piece on Oklahoma State’s record in weeknight games. Under Mike Gundy, the Cowboys have played 11 games on a weeknight and are 7-2. The last two games the Cowboys played were Texas Tech in Stillwater in 2014 and Central Michigan in Mount Pleasant in 2015. Both of which were wins for the Cowboys. This looks good going into the game in Boone Pickens against Tulsa next Thursday.

Gallagher Iba Arena Still Rocks:
The student section did their job this past season making GIA rowdy and it apparently was noticed. GIA was named the fourth best home court advantage in the country according to KENPOM.com national rankings.
GIA got some love from KenPom, but this one goes out to all the Cowboy fans that make it the Rowdiest Arena in the Country. #okstate pic.twitter.com/cWxOr8Zzw4

James Washington Named ESPN Preseason All-American:
The honors keep rolling in for Washington as ESPN has named Washington to their preseason All-American team. Joining Washington on the list is Heisman-hopeful QB Sam Darnold of USC, fellow Big 12 players Orlando Brown from Oklahoma and Connor Williams of Texas, both offensive tackles, as well as WR Calvin Ridley of Alabama. Washington is in elite company on this list and don’t be surprised when he’s on one or two when the season is over.
