It’s high noon. These are your Oklahoma State highlights.

Welcome to High Noon Highlights, a new daily link dump post at CRFF. Here, you’ll find all the important Oklahoma State news in one place.

A Day in the Life of James Washington:

Oklahoma State football followed around their top wide receiver for a day to give fans a glimpse of his daily schedule. It’s a really fun segment and I hope that they do it with more players. See what it’s like to be James Washington from his workouts to what he likes to eat for breakfast:

Christmas in August:

Wilson is known for making fantastic baseball gear. And for Oklahoma State baseball, it’s only the best. Yesterday Wilson came in and let OSU baseball design their gloves for the upcoming season. Every detailed was picked by the players and you can bet it was like Christmas for them. Let’s hope the gloves were made to get the Pokes to the College World Series.

Cowboy Golf Tops Preseason Poll:

#golfschool does it again. The men’s golf team topped the Bushnell/Golfweek preseason poll. Other schools included No.3 Oklahoma and No.6 Baylor.

A New Cowboys Ride For Free Segment:

Our own Joel Penfield will be hopping on the perioscope for the new show Two Minute Drill. Tune in at 5:30 p.m.

Adrian Baker, Backup Cornerback?

The Clemson graduate transfer was left off of the two-deep depth chart for the Tulsa game, and people freaked out.

It sounds like Baker will be playing in a primarily Nickel package. If you’ll recall, it’s similar to the role Tyler Patmon played for the Cowboys in 2013. If you want to dive a little deeper, I think this is really good news for Pokes fans. If a player with Baker’s talent and experience isn’t starting at his natural position, it’s because those behind him are on his heels.

A.J. Green and Rodarius Williams were announced as first-string starters for next week. Green is a true sophomore, and Williams is a redshirt freshman. Both were highly-touted recruits out of high school, and it looks like Gundy and Spencer are looking for a way to get them on the field.

Don’t look at this Adrian Baker situation as a bad thing. Think of it as a sign of unforeseen depth at the cornerback position.

Enjoy the last weekend without Cowboy Football! It’s almost here folks!
