Did I Say Compete? Well, They Were in Attendance.
NFL football is officially back??? I mean, kinda. If you call Blaine Gabbert throwing the football around and Rico Gathers catching touchdowns “NFL football.”
The Dallas Cowboys, AKA Oklahoma State South, took on the Arizona Cardinals in Canton, Ohio for the NFL Hall of Fame game. The big names for both teams never saw the field which included Cowboys star wide receiver, Dez Bryant, and All-NFL kicker, Dan Bailey. We did get to see a friendly face starting for America’s team, Blake Jarwin:

Blake was undrafted, but picked up by the Cowboys and has been battling for a roster spot all summer long.
Even though Dez Bryant didn’t see the field, he was allllllll over the TV:

Not a lot of camera time for Dan, though. #KickerLife

2. J.T. Barrett

4. Baker Mayfield

Oklahoma State fans love Joel Klatt. He’s gone up to bat for OSU many times over the past few years, and it’s been nice having a national guy giving (much needed) love to smaller market teams like us.
I agree with his list except for the JT Barrett pick. I understand that he’s been in a bunch of big games, but the eye test just doesn’t put him ahead of guys like Rudolph and Mayfield (for me).

Good listen. I’m very high on Kendall Smith. VERY high. Next basketball season should be full of growth. I’m excited to see the development under Coach Boynton.
