After defeating Tulsa by more than the spread said, the Cowboys moved down a spot in the AP Poll to No. 11, while they moved up a spot to No. 10 in the Coaches Poll, while upsetting OSU fans across the nation.
However, after beating perennial powerhouse South Alabama (lol), the Cowboys are now in the Top 10 of both polls. The Pokes moved up two spots in both polls. The AP poll has the Cowboys at No. 9, while the Coaches Poll ranked Mike Gundy’s team at No. 8.
#OKState jumps up in both polls this week and now sits at No. 8 and 9 in the Coaches and AP polls, respectively.

With the huge win over Ohio State yesterday, OU moved up to No. 2 in the nation in the AP Top 25 and No. 3 in the Coaches Poll behind Alabama and Clemson, respectively.
Kansas State jumped a spot in both polls to No. 18, following its 2-0 start to the season.
TCU is the final Big 12 team in the polls. The Horned Frogs are occupying the No. 20-spot in both polls this week.
I just want to reiterate how illogical this jump for the Cowboys is. Beat Tulsa, a 10-win team last year, and move down. Then you beat South Alabama, a 6-win team, and move up two spots?
Oh well.
