Madre Harper Dismissed from the Football Team

Prior to the Oklahoma State-Pittsburgh game, it was reported that Tyron Johnson and Madre Harper did not make the trip to Pittsburgh. Coach Mike Gundy said he would address it after the game. There was much speculation as to why both Johnson and Harper did not make the trip, but in Gundy’s postgame press conference he made it clear.

Tyron Johnson will be back next week, Gundy said he “didn’t violate any rules outside the team.” However, Gundy also said Harper is dismissed from team. Nothing is being reported as to why Harper was dismissed. We will update the story as more information comes out.

This is the second player that has been dismissed from the program in a week. One thing is now abundantly clear: Mike Gundy isn’t putting up with nonsense this year. If there is any negative effect on the program, you are gone.
