This is a huge get for first-year coach Mike Boynton. Jones is 6’6’’ and 210 pounds. The senior is ranked No.37 in the overall 2018 class and No.13 for shooting guards in the class. Jones had offers from Mississippi State, Louisiana State and South Carolina.
He put the Cowboys in his top-four on Thursday, and committed just three days later. Jones could start in his first season at Oklahoma State, as the backcourt clears out next season with the loss of Jeff Carroll. The Cowboys are loading up on young talent, and Jones could be one of the next elite players to come through Stillwater.
