High Noon Highlights (9/16): Rickie Fowler at BMW championship, Mason Rudolph gets love from ESPN

It’s High Noon, here are your Oklahoma State sports highlights.

NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Rickie impresses at BMW Championship:

First off, check out Rickie’s digs! Rickie pulls out all the stops on Sundays, and this week was no different. Second, this shot is gorgeous. It’s play like this that helped Fowler finish the BMW Championship T2 along with Justin Rose. Rickie finished at -18 on the tournament.

I especially enjoyed the “holstering” of the club.

Mason Rudolph gets a helmet sticker on ESPN:

On College Football Final, host Joey Galloway gave Mason Rudolph his helmet sticker after a 497 yards passing game against Pitt. Nice to see Rudolph’s impressive play being recognized.

Chris Carson is the starter in Seattle:

After an impressive 93 yards on 20 carries in his second game in the NFL, Chris Carson has officially been named the Seahawks’ first option at tailback.

Take a look at what Pete Carroll had to say about Carson:

“Chris looked really good,” coach Pete Carroll told reporters after the game. “I thought Chris has shown us nothing but really positive stuff. There is a style about the way he runs that you might recognize. High knees and chomping and eating that ground up. He’s really downhill at you. We’ve seen it for a long time, and we just keep hoping to see it continue. I think we have something. I think he’s a really good football player.”

Have a great day!
