Former Cowboys dot the rosters of NFL teams, and we’ll continue to give weekly updates for how each performed.
Vincent Taylor (Dolphins) – Taylor recorded his first tackle in his first game in the pros. Miami is expecting big things from him as the season goes on. It must’ve been fun to go against another OSU alum (Los Angeles’ OT Russell Okung) in Taylor’s first professional action.
Dez Bryant (Cowboys) – After a relatively featureless first week for Bryant, he found the endzone early against Denver and finished with seven catches for 59 yards.
Dan Bailey (Cowboys) – Despite Dallas’ offensive struggles, Bailey remained perfect on the year by converting two extra points and hitting his lone field goal attempt from 56 yards.
Emmanuel Ogbah (Browns) – Though he didn’t record any tackles as the Browns’ starting defensive end, Ogbah did manage to notch another pass defensed against Joe Flacco and the Ravens.
These former Pokes played on Sunday but didn’t accumulate any measurable stats:
Lane Taylor (Packers)
Russell Okung (Chargers)
And several other former Cowboys didn’t see the field for their respective teams:
Tyler Patmon (Jaguars)
Lenzy Pipkins (Packers)
Blake Jarwin (Cowboys) – practice squad
Kevin Peterson (Rams) – injured
