Oklahoma State football fans have established a new benchmark for season ticket sales at Boone Pickens Stadium. 50,354 tickets have been purchased, eclipsing the previous record of 50,233 in 2013.

The stadium’s capacity was reduced from 60,218 to just over 56,000 seats in the offseason, in order to free up space between seats. That move could help see more sellouts, as we’ve already had two this season in Tulsa and TCU.
Regardless, this is awesome news, and is a reason for fans, and the university, to pat themselves on the back.
