Well, it was a rough game on Saturday. TCU throttled Oklahoma State for 4 quarters, in route to a 44-31 upset in Boone Pickens Stadium. Kenny Hill and the Horned Frogs whooped the Cowboy defense up and down the field all game, and the Cowboy offense could’t catch up.
Despite the loss, Mason Rudolph still threw for nearly 400 yards and a couple of touchdowns. James Washington still proved to be one of the best deep threats in the nation, with 6 catches for 153 yards. On the defensive side, Chad Whitener led the way with 9 tackles (6 solo). On special teams, Zach Sinor is still a master of punting footballs, averaging 48.3 yards per kick.
The guy I am going with for unsung hero is on the defensive side of the ball. I know I mentioned above that the defense had a rough day, but that does not mean that individuals did not have a good game. The guy I am going with this week is Darrion Daniels. He was the second leading tackler on the team with 8 (5 solo), and one for loss. Daniels has been a mainstay on the defensive line last year and now this year. He’s been a great run stopper, which has been key so far this season. If he can continue to stop the run, it will help the defense by making a team one-dimensional.
