Mason Rudolph Delivers the Goods

We know his stat line was good, now let’s take a closer look at when and how Rudolph delivered, thanks to cfbfilmroom.com.

Not a bad set of stats for someone who only played three quarters against a team that went 10-3 last season.

No. 19 Cowgirl Soccer Stay Undefeated

Since we checked in with the Cowgirls last week, they still have not lost.

They battled to a 2-2 draw with the No. 12 Texas A&M Aggies on Friday.

The Cowgirls opened the scoring on an A&M own goal in the 17-minute mark. Marlo Zoller had a cross that the defender tried to knock away but accidentally deflected into her own net.

Haley Woodard scored the equalizer with less than five minutes to go in the match for her first goal of the season to give the Cowgirls their first draw of the season.

The offensive dam burst on Sunday for the Cowgirls as they defeated the UTSA Roadrunners by a score of 6-0.

Taylor Olson had a magnificent day, scoring three second-half goals off the bench for her second, third and fourth goals of the season in her home town of San Antonio.

Anna Beffer scored the only goal of the first half, knocking in her first one at the 30’ mark.

Claire Gantzer scored at the 51’ mark and Marlo Zoller knocked in her second of the season two minutes later. Then the Olson show took over for the Cowgirls.

With the win, the Cowgirls improve to 5-0-1 on the season. Coach Carmichael and Olson broke down the win:

This week, the Cowgirls have a pair of home games. First, they face the Fighting Illini from Illinois on Friday, with kickoff scheduled for 4 p.m. (presumably to avoid interfering with the football game). Then, they will duel with the Abilene Christian Wildcats on Sunday. That match will begin at 1 p.m. from the Cowgirl Soccer Complex on campus.

Jeffrey Carroll Among Best Returning Big 12 Players

@OSUMBB tweeted out an awesome GIF relating to senior wing Jeffrey Carroll. It shows where he ranks among Big 12 players that are going to be playing this coming season. As you can see, he is near the top of quite a few categories, and I expect his numbers to only go up.
